Is The Plot Interesting?
I think what makes the plot so special and unique (from every other true story film) is that it didn’t exaggerate any of the major details at all. And it didn’t need to because the story was already extraordinary.
Is The Acting Good?
Tom Hanks and Aaron Eckhart worked amazingly together. Their two characters had to support each other when the authorities were looking for somebody to blame and I think their chemistry really showed on-screen.
Is The Directing Good?
Clint Eastwood develops the story well and keeps us in suspense right till the end. His way of telling the story, and keeping us waiting to see the big crash throughout the movie, was really smart.
Is The Cinematography Good?
The cinematography added a lot to the suspense of the movie, especially during the events leading up to the crash and the crash itself. I don’t think the movie would have had the same brilliant effect if the cinematography choices that were made, weren’t…
Is It Worth Watching?
Is this the best Tom Hanks movie? No! But it’s definitely worth a watch when you get a chance. It certainly had quite an impact on me due to Tom Hanks’ performance and the miracle the movie was bringing to life.
Everything is unprecedented until it happens for the first time.
