When Woody (Tom Hanks) is stolen by a mysterious toy collector, Buzz (Tim Allen) and his friends vow to rescue him, but Woody finds the idea of immortality in a museum quite tempting.
Is The Plot Interesting?
I personally feel like it’s a slight improvement from the first Toy Story’s plot simply because it explores the bigger picture, and I think that’s exactly what was needed for this sequel.
Is The Acting Good?
The voice acting again is pretty solid from the entire cast. Tom Hanks really does shine as the cowboy Woody and I enjoy watching his character and Tim Allen’s character interact with each other on-screen.
Is The Directing Good?
John Lasseter came back to direct the sequel and I thought he did a great job. I can see how much John Lasseter was involved in the movie and how much input he had in developing the story.
Is The Cinematography Good?
The cinematography kept the tone and style of the movie consistent throughout the full length of the film. The way the movie was animated and put together made it seem quite coherent.
Is It Worth Watching?
Toy Story 2 is great for the kids; they’re sure to love it! If anything, you’re bound to love the unique and funny characters that are in the movie. The interaction between them all is just brilliant.
You never forget kids like Emily, or Andy, but they forget you.
