Legendary hitman John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is forced back out of retirement by a former associate (Michael Nyqvist) and the former associate’s son (Alfie Allen) when he has to track them down after they take everything from him.

Is The Plot Interesting?

It’s not only an action movie, but there’s a very good reason behind the action which really added a lot of gravity to the movie I thought. That reason behind the action made the movie what it is in my opinion.

Is The Acting Good?

The acting wasn’t amazing, but it wasn’t bad. I did think John Wick was cast very well though – Keanu Reeves especially. Keanu Reeves does action very well and that is what the movie shines at.

Is The Directing Good?

The directing is perfect for this genre. Chad Stahelski has had a lot of experience with filming action movies and stunts so I think he was definitely the right guy to direct the movie.

Is The Cinematography Good?

The cinematography did well at balancing the action and keeping you focused. With action movies, I find the cinematography can just as easily take you away from the experience, as it can pull you in, and John Wick thankfully did the latter.

Is It Worth Watching?

I think John Wick is well worth a watch for anyone who just wants to be entertained for almost two hours. It’s fun and entertaining, and after all, that’s exactly what I was looking for in this movie.

When Helen died, I lost everything. Until that dog arrived on my doorstep… A final gift from my wife… In that moment, I received some semblance of hope… an opportunity to grieve unalone… And your son… took that from me.
