It’s been two weeks since the last episode of Sherlock season four aired on our screens so I’ve decided to rank all of the current episodes.

13. The Six Thatchers (Season 4, Episode 1)

Although this is one of the more recent ones, it’s not one of my favourites and I don’t think it ever will be.

12. The Blind Banker (Season 1, Episode 2)

I enjoyed The Blind Banker but because all of the other episodes are so good, it has to be 12th on my list.

11. The Hounds Of Baskerville (Season 2, Episode 2)

From Sherlock’s delusions to the monstrous creature that haunts Dartmoor, I enjoyed this episode enough to put it at number 11 on my list.

10. A Scandal In Belgravia (Season 2, Episode 1)

The addition of Irene Adler, the only woman to outwit Sherlock Holmes, was a welcome one in the eyes of many Sherlock fans.

9. The Final Problem (Season 4, Episode 3)

What is supposedly the last episode of Sherlock, The Final Problem wrapped up the series really well.

8. The Abominable Bride (Christmas Special)

It might be 8th on my list but The Abominable Bride is probably the episode I’ve watched the most.

7. The Empty Hearse (Season 3, Episode 1)

After two years of waiting, The Empty Hearse answers a lot of the questions the previous episode left us with.

6. His Last Vow (Season 3, Episode 3)

Lars Mikkelsen plays a great villain in the form of Charles Augustus Magnussen, who Sherlock refers to as the Napoleon of blackmail.

5. The Lying Detective (Season 4, Episode 2)

This episode genuinely had me on tenterhooks and left me wondering what was going to happen next!

4. The Sign Of Three (Season 3, Episode 2)

One of the funniest episodes of Sherlock, John and Mary get married with Sherlock as best man…

3. A Study In Pink (Season 1, Episode 1)

With great character introduction and a brilliant mystery to solve, what is not to love about the first episode of Sherlock?

2. The Great Game (Season 1, Episode 3)

The Great Game is the first episode of Sherlock I ever watched and is the episode that made me fall in love with the series.

1. The Reichenbach Fall (Season 2, Episode 3)

The Reichenbach Fall is without a doubt my favourite episode of Sherlock because of its smart script and brilliant performances from everybody involved.

So that’s how I would rank all of the Sherlock episodes! Would you rank them any differently?
