Another year has come to a close, so it’s time to look at all the movies that I’m excited for this year.

1. Logan – March 3rd

The trailer really surprised me, and it looks like for Hugh Jackman’s final performance as Wolverine they’re taking it in a different direction in terms of style.

2. Beauty And The Beast – March 17th

Now the trailer didn’t overly impressed me, and I’m not a huge fan of the animated version, but I’m really excited to see Emma Watson in a leading role.

3. The Fate Of The Furious – April 14th

Furious 7 was such a good tribute to Paul Walker that I can’t wait to see what they have wrapped up their sleeve for the next installment.

4. The Circle – April 28th (USA)

This movie isn’t going to be on everyone’s list but it has caught my attention for two reasons: the Emma Watson and Tom Hanks team up, and the modern feel the trailer had.

5. Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 – April 28th

After Guardians Of The Galaxy took the world by storm in 2014, it was inevitable that a sequel would be coming and in May we finally get to see that sequel.

6. Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales – May 26th

I have to admit, the trailer made me curious about the film and I hope Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales brings back more of what we saw in the first film.

7. Wonder Woman – June 2nd

I liked what they did with the character in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice so it’ll be fun to watch her in her own movie.

8. Despicable Me 3 – June 30th

It’s not a movie I’m going to be rushing to the cinema to see, but it is definitely one I’m hoping to watch in 2017.

9. Spider-Man: Homecoming – July 7th

After his entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Captain America: Civil War, I can’t wait to see what more Spider-Man will bring to the ever-growing franchise.

10. Cars 3 – July 14th

I liked Cars, Cars 2 not as much, so I’m hoping Cars 3 will bring back what I saw in the first film.

11. Dunkirk – July 21st

Not only do I like Christopher Nolan as a director, but as a writer too, and this war movie is set to be one of the best movies of 2017.

12. Kingsman: The Golden Circle – September 29th

I thought Kingsman: The Secret Service was a fun movie, and with Channing Tatum joining the cast, I’m sure it’ll be just as fun.

13. Thor: Ragnarok – October 27th

After that little teaser ‘clip’ of Thor: Ragnarok and the post-credit scene in Doctor Strange, it’s safe to say this isn’t one I’m likely to skip.

14. Justice League – November 17th

What can I say? I’m excited for Justice League! Seeing them team up together is going to be just as cool as watching The Avengers for the first time.

15. Star Wars: Episode VIII – December 15th

Star Wars: Episode VIII is sure going to be a smash hit after the success of Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens in 2015.

16. Pitch Perfect 3 – December 22nd

It might be just under a year away but I can’t wait to see what Beca and the rest of The Bellas do next.

I hope you enjoyed reading about what I’m looking forward to watching in 2017. Let me know what you’re going to watch this year and if you think I’ve left any movies out.
