The Grinch (Jim Carrey) decides to ruin Christmas for the people of Whoville. But will he have a change of heart when he encounters the endearing Cindy Lou Who (Taylor Momsen)?
Is The Plot Interesting?
The plot is one of the best parts, if not the best part, of the movie. It’s the type of plot that grabs your attention from the very first scene and has you asking questions all the way through.
Is The Acting Good?
Jim Carrey was absolutely fantastic as the Grinch! He is just utterly real and nails the character perfectly. I also thought Taylor Momsen was good as Cindy Lou Who. Them two worked well together.
Is The Directing Good?
Ron Howard created a Christmas classic that I’m sure will be around for many more years to come. He used the source material wisely and doesn’t stray too far from Dr. Seuss’ timeless Christmas tale.
Is The Cinematography Good?
One of the things I noticed about Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas was it’s surprisingly good cinematography. The way the cinematographer has used movement is very smart and supports the storyline.
Is It Worth Watching?
If you haven’t watched Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas, you’ve definitely heard of it. And for good reason! Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas is a brilliant Christmas film that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
Hate, hate, hate. Hate, hate, hate. Double hate. LOATHE ENTIRELY!
