While Santa is busy getting ready for Christmas, his daughter (Maria Thayer) takes her first trip away from the North Pole during the festive period hoping to find adventure and love in sunny California.
Is The Plot Interesting?
I have to say, it isn’t the most engaging plot I’ve seen but it does have a very Christmassy feel to it. And I found that the movie’s main character being Santa’s daughter adds something to it.
Is The Acting Good?
The acting has its good part but overall it was just mediocre. Although I did think Maria Thayer gave a good performance, it didn’t help me connect with the story or make me feel anything towards certain characters.
Is The Directing Good?
Much like the acting, the directing is just mediocre. There are good parts to it, like how it seems to have influenced every bit of the movie, but it didn’t impress particularly. It could have been better.
Is The Cinematography Good?
The cinematography is definitely not the main focus of the movie and never tries to be. The camera angles and movements used are all just very basic, and all things that we’ve seen before.
Is It Worth Watching?
Annie Claus Is Coming To Town isn’t one of my favourite Christmas movies… that being said, it’s still worth a watch. It’s a brilliant movie for when all the family is around during the festive period.
I’m going to infuse you with Christmas spirit.
