Is The Plot Interesting?
Not only does the movie have great action sequences but it also has emotional weight surrounding Scott Lang and his daughter. I really enjoyed watching their relationship grow.
Is The Acting Good?
Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas are good in Ant-Man. They show who their characters are really well. Evangeline Lilly and Michael Pena also add a lot to the movie; it wouldn’t be the same without them.
Is The Directing Good?
Ant-Man is a bit different to the other movies Peyton Reed has directed but that doesn’t mean that this genre doesn’t suit him, because it does. I can’t imagine a better director for this movie.
Is The Cinematography Good?
The way the movie’s action sequences are filmed show us just how Ant-Man is in proportion to everything else, like a toy train. The final sequence in the bedroom is the best for this.
Is It Worth Watching?
Marvel surprised me yet again. Ant-Man is a good movie that involves characters that I hadn’t really heard of… but it worked. And you could watch Ant-Man without any knowledge about the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
