Superman’s (Cavill) battle with Zod left many feeling angry and helpless. Bruce Wayne (Affleck), convinced that Superman is now a threat, becomes determined to end his reign on Earth. While Lex Luthor (Eisenberg) begins his own campaign against the Man of Steel.
Is The Plot Interesting?
I think the main problem people had with this movie was the plot being too full and I’m afraid I have to agree to a certain extent. It seemed very cramped and full of things that could have been cut out. Apart from that I quite enjoyed the plot.
Is The Acting Good?
I can’t fault the performances. I loved Ben Affleck’s Batman and Henry Cavill’s Superman. I also loved the way Jesse Eisenberg portrayed Lex Luther; his version of the character went well with the movie.
Is The Directing Good?
Sadly, the directing did have some issues. I felt like Zack Snyder had too much to say in one movie but instead of spreading it over a few movies or cutting things out, he just crammed it all into one.
Is The Cinematography Good?
The cinematography matches with the dark tone of Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. It uses, a lot of the time, low lighting and shadows to keep the dark tone that surrounds this movie.
Is It Worth Watching?
Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice features great performances and a dark, more serious version of Batman and Superman. But also has an overloaded plot that really lets it down.
No one stays good in this world.
