Summary

Peter Quill (Pratt) finds himself in the company of four misfits: Rocket (Cooper), Groot (Diesel), Gamora (Saldana) and Drax the Destroyer (Bautista). Together they must stop a fanatical warrior from taking control of the universe.

Is The Plot Interesting?

The plot is focused and straight to the point. It continues throughout the movie at a good speed. It’s also quite engaging and really grabs your attention right from the very first scene.

Is The Acting Good?

All the cast play their parts amazingly. They also all have characters that are developed really well and stand out. By the end of the film I knew each of the characters names because they each had a part to play in the story.

Is The Directing Good?

James Gunn really surprised me; he directed the movie better than I could have imagined. Before Guardians Of The Galaxy he hadn’t directed anything that showed us what he was capable of.

Is The Cinematography Good?

One of the things I noticed was that the cinematography evolved with the movie. Did anyone else notice that? Or was it just me? The way they used camera movement was quite smart and created the different effects that they were looking for.

Is It Worth Watching?

Guardians Of The Galaxy has to be one of the best Marvel movies I’ve seen so far. The characters and the story are so well written that it’s hard to find a fault with either one of them.
