It’s been three years since the Barden Bellas became the first all-female group to win a national title but a performance for the president leaves them stripped of their performing duties. The world championships in Copenhagen offers the only shot at redemption.
Is The Plot Interesting?
The plot of the movie was a good way to continue the Barden Bellas’ story. It delved deeper into each of the characters and told us more about who they are individually, especially Anna Kendrick’s character.
Is The Acting Good?
Hailee Steinfeld was brilliant as the new Bella, Emily. Her character is very likeable and immediately hits it off with the other girls of the group. The chemistry between the girls is so relatable.
Is The Directing Good?
I love Elizabeth Banks’ directing style, I think it’s very open and brings a lot of energy to the movie. You can see just how much enthusiasm and excitement there is behind the camera.
Is The Cinematography Good?
The cinematography helped the movie in some ways but overall it was just average. There was some nice shots but there just wasn’t really anything special about it to be honest. It didn’t stand out.
Is It Worth Watching?
I must admit, I was a little disappointed by Pitch Perfect 2. I loved Pitch Perfect so I was very excited to see what they would do with the second one. It was a good movie but it just wasn’t as good as Pitch Perfect.
