Summary

While Captain America (Chris Evans) is still trying to adjust to modern times, he teams up with Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) to stop an old friend who comes back to cause problems.

Is The Plot Interesting?

I liked how, even though there’s a big time difference between Captain America and Captain America: The Winter Soldier, the script was written in a way that continued the story of Captain America really well.

Is The Acting Good?

Chris Evans brings a different side to Captain America in this installment by showing us the more vulnerable and relatable side to him. I also loved Scarlett Johansson’s portrayal of Black Widow.

Is The Directing Good?

Anthony Russo and Joe Russo did a good job at keeping the same tone and style as Captain America because if they didn’t do this, the movie would have felt very separate to the franchise.

Is The Cinematography Good?

The cinematography was good in the parts where they were fighting because you didn’t lose track of what was happening and you felt close to the action. I thought it suited the movie really well.

Is It Worth Watching?

In the end Captain America: The Winter Soldier is a decent installment in the continuing franchise that tells us more about who Captain America really is and what his role in S.H.I.E.L.D. is.

3/5

Even when I had nothing, I had Bucky.
