Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) finds the Aether, which is owned by the Dark Elves, and becomes its host. This forces Thor (Chris Hemsworth) to bring her to Asgard before Dark Elf Malekith (Christopher Eccleston) decides to use her as a weapon.
Is The Plot Interesting?
I didn’t find the plot to be as interesting as the first movie but it was still interesting enough. It taught us more about the Nine Realms and explored them a little bit more which I quite enjoyed.
Is The Acting Good?
Tom Hiddleston was amazing in Thor: The Dark World. He had great on-screen presence and brought another dimension to his character. I really enjoyed watching his performance.
Is The Directing Good?
I’ve never actually enjoyed any movies Alan Taylor has directed other than this one if I’m honest. And I think that this is his best work without a doubt. He connected the story through his directing.
Is The Cinematography Good?
I enjoyed the cinematography in Thor: The Dark World; it does do a pretty good job at supporting the plot. It makes the movie more powerful and also adds a lot to the tone and style.
Is It Worth Watching?
If you like these sorts of movies then go ahead and check Thor: The Dark World out; you will more than likely have as good a time with this movie as I did. However, it isn’t the best Marvel movie I’ve seen.
There is nothing more reassuring than realising that the world is crazier than you are.
