Is The Plot Interesting?
I enjoyed the plot more than I thought I was going to and I ended up really getting into it. There’s nothing very special about the plot but in a way it was quite powerful and effective.
Is The Acting Good?
The acting is what you would expect from Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway going into the film. They’re both good in The Intern but the movie doesn’t showcase them at their best.
Is The Directing Good?
I really enjoyed the directing style Nancy Meyers brought to the movie; it was very easy to watch and didn’t change throughout. I think her directing style reflected the movie quite a lot.
Is The Cinematography Good?
I found the cinematography to be very practical and ordinary. Nothing about the cinematography stood out to me at all, and that did let the movie down a little bit in this area.
Is It Worth Watching?
I actually had an enjoyable time watching The Intern and I would recommend it to anyone who is after an easy-going and relaxing film to watch. The chemistry between Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro is great.
