When Loki (Tom Hiddleston) gains access to the unlimited power of the energy cube called the Tesseract, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) has a responsibility as the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. to bring together a team of superheroes to stop him.
Is The Plot Interesting?
The Avengers has one of the best plots I’ve seen from a Marvel movie. Seeing all the Avengers together for the first time was pretty cool. Loki is a fantastic villain, and the fact that he is Thor’s brother adds another dimension to the story.
Is The Acting Good?
Everyone does a great job in this movie. They’re all funny, entertaining and not too over the top. I really enjoyed Mark Ruffalo’s performance as Bruce Banner; I think he’s ideal for the role and plays him perfectly.
Is The Directing Good?
Joss Whedon had the big task of bringing the Avengers together and he pulled it off. His directing style influences the movie in so many ways, making it one of the best Marvel movies I’ve seen.
Is The Cinematography Good?
The cinematography is clean-cut and polished. It all comes together nicely to give the movie its modern feel. The cinematography works very well with the movie and adds a little something to it.
Is It Worth Watching?
In terms of entertainment value, you can’t get much better than The Avengers. It’s a really funny, entertaining and enjoyable movie with a great villain. Seeing all of the Avengers come together was probably the best part for me though.
[to Captain America] In a few hours I’ll know every dirty secret S.H.I.E.L.D. has been trying to hide. Blueberry?
