On the day Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is to be crowned King of Asgard, the Frost Giants enter the palace in violation of their treaty. Thor reacts badly and as a punishment his father, Odin (Anthony Hopkins), banishes him to Earth.

Is The Plot Interesting?

The plot was good but it’s not what makes this movie good; the characters are what makes the movie good. It was the perfect plot in which to introduce Thor to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Is The Acting Good?

Chris Hemsworth is not only funny in this movie but he also adds drama to it as well. You understand that, even though Loki is doing horrible things, Loki is his brother and he can’t kill him, he just has to stop him.

Is The Directing Good?

I found the movie to be very cohesive which I think is down to the good directing and the good editing. The movie seemed well thought out and clearly planned so that everything worked in unison.

Is The Cinematography Good?

In terms of how this movie actually looks, it couldn’t have been better. Asgard is extremely well done and looks so real. The cinematography works well with the plot of the movie.

Is It Worth Watching?

Thor is a really good Marvel movie with interesting characters and great chemistry between the cast. It also has great action sequences and great special effects that add to the overall image of the movie.
