Adonis Johnson (Michael B. Jordan), son of famous boxer Apollo Creed, asks Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) to train him. With Rocky’s help, Adonis soon gets a shot at the title and Rocky battles an opponent deadlier than any in the ring.

Is The Plot Interesting?

I think they created a brilliant story that suited the franchise and the actors very well. Rocky Balboa is in it but he isn’t the main focus and doesn’t take the attention away from Adonis Johnson.

Is The Acting Good?

Sylvester Stallone shows us a new and exciting side to Rocky… I think it’s one of his best performances yet. Michael B. Jordan also gives an amazing performance as Adonis Johnson.

Is The Directing Good?

Upon doing some research I found that Creed is only Ryan Coogler’s second movie. He’s set to release Black Panther in 2018 also starring Michael B. Jordan. I found the directing to be calm and well collected.

Is The Cinematography Good?

I thought the cinematography was quite modern. It was very crisp and very clear. The fights were filmed effectively and the way they were filmed made them look more high-risk.

Is It Worth Watching?

If you don’t like Rocky or haven’t even seen it yet you should still watch Creed because it has great performances, a great storyline and great directing. The soundtrack was very good as well.

One step at a time. One punch at a time. One round at a time.
