Summary

Queen Ravenna (Charlize Theron) is tested when Snow White (Kristen Stewart), the only person who can stop her from being truly immortal, escapes. Ravenna then sends a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) to find her.

Is The Plot Interesting?

Snow White And The Huntsman puts a nice spin on the classic tale to give us something fresh and modern while still keeping theĀ fundamentals of the story it’s based off and I think it worked really well.

Snow White And The Huntsman 2

Is The Acting Good?

Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth impressed me. So did Kristen Stewart but not as much. Kristen Stewart’s Snow White went well the style of the movie and didn’t take away from the darker tone which it easily could have.

Is The Directing Good?

The directing was good but not amazing. It did add a little bit to the movie but not much that it’s noticeable. I can tellĀ Rupert Sanders did his best and in my opinion he was definitely the best person to direct the movie.

Snow White And The Huntsman 1

Is The Cinematography Good?

The cinematography makes the movie darker which I think was the intent. It works really well with the movie and matches with the tone and style to create the atmosphere and mood it needed.

Is It Worth Watching?

Snow White And The Huntsman is an entertaining and fun movie that is worth a watch. It has some good performances and the plot is an interesting take on the classic Snow White story.
