|UK Release Date||1st January 2014|
Sherlock returns. This time he has Charles Augustus Magnussen, the most notorious blackmailer around, as his nemesis. As well as this he has a wedding to go to in which he plays a vital part.
Is The Plot Interesting?
By this point you think you know everything about Sherlock and how the plot is going to go as it’s pretty similar every episode but this season does change it a bit and gives it a new vibe.
Is The Acting Good?
The acting, again, is on another high level. Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman really have grew as people along with their characters. Una Stubbs also shines as Mrs Hudson.
Is The Directing Good?
The directing in season three of Sherlock is, particularly in one episode, amazing. You can see how much thought has went into each episode and how much effort the director has put into it.
Is The Cinematography Good?
Like the directing, in season three of Sherlock the cinematography is amazing. Particularly in one episode. Out of all the seasons this one is the one that stands out for it’s cinematography.
Is It Worth Watching?
I love Sherlock. It’s my favourite TV series of all time. So from that perspective I definitely recommend season three but if you didn’t like the other seasons you probably won’t like it still.
I’ve dealt with murderers, psychopaths, terrorists, serial killers – none of them can turn my stomach like Charles Augustus Magnussen.
