Summary

The next movie in Christopher Nolan’s batman trilogy focuses on the Joker (Heath Ledger) as he wreaks havoc and chaos on the people of Gotham. Batman (Christian Bale) has to deal with the psychological and physical effects that come with fighting the Joker.

Is The Plot Interesting?

The Joker is such an interesting character and has such an interesting story that it is a really compelling movie. The plot is so much more interesting than I ever expected because I usually like the origin stories the best if I’m honest.

The Dark Knight 1

Is The Acting Good?

Heath Ledger gives one of the best performances of all time as the Joker in The Dark Knight. His performance alone is worth the price to watch it but the rest of the cast give great performances as well which makes it even better.

Is The Directing Good?

Like Batman Begins I can’t say enough good things about the directing; Christopher Nolan knew what he wanted from his actors again. But I also feel like he gave them more freedom to take the characters in a different direction.

The Dark Knight 2

Is The Cinematography Good?

The way this movie is shot and lit is the main factor of what makes the tone of the movie and the tone of this movie and the one previous to this is what makes it so compelling and different.

Is It Worth Watching?

Brilliant characters. Tense. Interesting plot. Whether you like Batman and the Joker or not you should definitely give this a go because it’s one of the best, if not the best, superhero movie I have ever seen.

5/5

Why so serious?

– Heath Ledger as the Joker
