Steve Jobs (Fassbender) has to overcome personal issues with his daughter and ex-girlfriend but also with co-founder Steve Wozniak (Rogan) and marketing executive Joanna Hoffman (Winslet). All before going on stage to present the latest product.
Is The Plot Interesting?
I had quite high hopes for this movie ever since Michael Fassbender and Kate Winslet were attached and it didn’t disappoint. I found the plot to be engaging, informative and interesting. I laughed at a few parts too which is something I didn’t expect.
Is The Acting Good?
Michael Fassbender and Kate Winslet do a fantastic job, you can see that they’ve done their research and done what they can to get the best performance out of themselves. It was also nice seeing Seth Rogan do something else rather than his usual comedy.
Is The Directing Good?
The director, Danny Boyle, definitely knew where he wanted to go with this movie and kept it going on that path. With the way the movie is set up (the time periods) it could have gone quite wrong but I think Danny Boyle made it work.
Is The Cinematography Good?
With a movie like this which is basically all dialogue the cinematography has to be good to keep us more interested and I think it does a pretty good job at doing that. Have I seen better cinematography? Yes. Have I seen worse? Yes.
Is It Worth Watching?
If you like movies that have more action then give this one a miss because the movie relies on the chemistry between the characters and the screenplay but I really enjoyed it and found it to be very informative.
God sent his only son on a suicide mission, but people like him because he made trees.
